I Predict a Riot

A new video from an artist that is slept on way more than he should be.
Hezekiah feat. Keziah and Eshon Burgundy-"I Predict a Riot"
BTW, if you haven't heard his CD, "I Predict a Riot".....you should.
He has a joint on there with Freeway that is quite ill, I'm sure it would do well on the radio or with any ROC heads at that....
He also got Bilal on a smooth, mellowed out track....fans of Bilal, here you go.
The production of the entire album is well formatted and his songs are unique AND catchy....picture that!!

Cop It!

Kevin Michael: Wants to be Iconic

Kevin Michael's debut CD should currently be getting play in your CD player, car stereo, or IPOD. His first effort is truly amazing to me. The only other R&B album released this year that I could listen to in it's entirety, all day long is Chrisette Michele's debut. Both bring back that mood in music that has been missing for sometime now. Below, his video for "It Don't Make Any Difference to Me" feat. Wyclef Jean

What Big Arms you have John....

I was about to roll up out of here...and then I come across this....
New John legend video for, "Another Again" from his album, "Once Again". Doesn't he look cut the hell up???!?!!?!

"The spotlights here can burn holes through the stage...."

Lupe Fiasco's new video featuring Matthew Santos on the Chorus, for "Superstar". He introduces the characters in here, The Game, The Streets, and The Cool of course. Can you spot them out?? I'll follow up with a detailed breakdown later....but just watch the video, directed by Hype Williams by the way (He takes on a different approach for this video, not your usual Hype Williams feel).

Surviving the Times

Another video to cure the Monday blues....Nas, "Surviving the Times". Off of his highly controversial album, "Nigger"....&& on that note, one of the first albums in history to use that word in it's album title:

"Superstar" is Here

According to the Child Rebel Soldier blog, "Superstar" will be premiering today via MTV2 and on MTV.com and MTVU.com all day. His video will be an unleashed video meaning it will play on MTV2 every hour on the hour. TRL will be premiering it tomorrow, Tuesday @ 3:30pm. So, that means voting for it to be on the countdown is necessary. You can also pre-order "The Cool" on Myspace.

INTERESTING HINTS:
--THERE MAY BE 18 TRACKS ON THE ALBUM
--SNOOP DOGG MIGHT BE MAKING A GUEST APPEARANCE

In about 6 weeks, the wait will be over. I'll have the album in my hands && there will either be a bit of disappointment due to the fact that I've hyped up the album so much that it wasn't able to meet my silly standards....or I won't be able to stop listening to "The Cool", which is the same effect that F&L had on me. I'm almost 100% sure that this album will be banged my car stereo with much anticipation to play it each time I hop into the bishi. Avid supporter, yes I am. Quality music, yes, it's coming.
