I had no idea there was a video for this. Thank you DC for the heads up. I heard this song for the first time about 2 weeks ago, and I could not stop playing it. If you haven't already heard Colin Munroe's version of "Flashing Lights" titled, "I Want Those Flashing Lights", well here's the video. I absolutely love how he made the song his own, his melody over the beat is superb. The video is directed by Philip Sportel and involves the use of color and of course, lights, some of them flashing. The title explains the song's content, which is Erykah describing someone who's like honey, real sweet, her sugar, her little muse, her favorite drink....you get it. It has that Erykah Badu vibe, quite chill and at the same time, funky.
