People don't feel Beyonce like I do

So here goes another ridiculous article that really got me heated:

Disgruntled fans of Beyoncé have started a petition to get the musical diva to reshoot the video for her new song "Deja Vu."The plea to her label Columbia Records, tries to make the case that the video "is an underwhelming representation of the talent and quality of previous music video projects of Ms. Knowles." "Bug-a-Boo" anyone? The petition outlines seven comical points of contention and claims the editing "causes one to get dizzy and disoriented", calls the dancing "erratic, confusing and alarming" and the fashion "unbelievable and ridiculous." Beyoncé's outfits unbelievable and ridiculous? No way!!Regarding her scenes with real life boyfriend Jay-Z, the petition believes the sexual themes between the duo are "alarming and show unacceptable interactions between the two." Hopefully Beyoncé's fans will like the rest of her latest music and can 'check on it' when her new album "B'day" drops on September 5.
TMZ.com posted this article.

here's my take:
(this was acutally my comment to this article)

First off, someone made a comment about B misusing the word Deja Vu. They said "it's about feeling like you've experienced something sometime before ,it's not seeing you everywhere". And if you listened closely you would know that she sees this person and thinks she knows him because she feels like she has seen him somewhere before. Like 'damn this feels familiar, me seeing this man'. I mean truthfully society does NOT pay attention to detail or anything else for that matter. I mean if you don't like something fine, that's your opinion but DO NOT call names and throw down something someone does because you simply don't like the song. Leave it at that. People probably shot down the video because they hated the song. If you're gonna argue something make valid points. If I was going at it with those petitioners I'd smoke them. There would be NO petition. Clearly the African dancing you saw was B emulating another legend, JOSEPHINE BAKER. Do you all even know who that is? And as far as her and Jay being 'unacceptable', I mean they act like they were fornicating. Women are sexual in videos with men who are complete strangers. B is being sexy with HER MAN. Her clothes, utterly amazing. Apparently the petitioners are too busy making ridiculous petitions to get hip to the fashion game. And if your moms made clothes like that who wouldn't wear them. It doesn't mean her mommy dresses her. Damn people are ridiculous. Go B!...it's your b-day!!!

Celebrity Style Match

I just went ahead and did one of these oh so infamous....Celebrity Style Match quizzes. It wasn't a complete waste of time being that my style match is Beyonce. I can't disagree, I've always noticed how much alike our style is. Well for the most part anyway. Just a little fun on blogger.

Beyoncé is your celebrity style match!
Your affinity for supersexy designs makes bootylicious Beyoncé your celebrity style match. The songstress’s glamorous garb is comparable to the come-hither and eye-popping attire in your fashion arsenal—all of which are musts for keeping your most inviting foot forward.

The 'Wii'

For all you video games heads, Nintendo's Next Generation Console just dropped in the UK. They got to be the first to get hands on with the Wii (the official name for the console). I know I've been waiting for the Playstation 3 personally. But I also heard about the new MARIO game they have for the Wii, which I know will be inviting. I'm sorry ya'll I am a true video game head, so of course I'd blog about this.
For the full report on this, click
HERE .

Please note that the console will NOT be shipped out in Sept. as fans speculated it might. A nintendo spokesperson told Bloomberg:
“There's no change in our plan to release the console in the last quarter of this year. We are planning an announcement in September and it may be causing some confusion.''
But, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told the Japanese press:
"We can't talk about [the Wii’s] release date, but we don't want to miss the year-end sales battle. In the US, we must release it by Thanksgiving, or retailers won't give us the support we need."
So we'll see how all that pans out. But I need some new technology in my life I don't know about ya'll. The BET awards don't entertain like they should anymore so you can imagine my wanting for another means of entertainment.

Make-up is Required for some:Keyshia Cole

I'm sorry I just don't understand why keyshia did this. She always looks as if she was in a rush and didn't have time to get her hair or make-up done. But at the Essence Music Festival, she looked horrible. I mean she was pale, just crazy looking. I just don't know why she did this to herself. Make-up is a MUST for Keyshia, clearly, so put it on baby.

Pharrell no longer #1 to Vuitton

I was delighted to find out that Pharrell was about to be the new face of Louis Vuitton. I was happy to see him venturing out and accomplishing other projects, which is always good. But I was suddenly taken back by recent reports of him shaming homosexuals, and thus risking his new campaign. Entertainmentwise reports:

"US music star Pharrell Williams may have shot himself in the foot with some recent remarks that exposed his unattractive homophobic streak.
Williams, was being lined up to be the face of the new autumn campaign for fashion house Louis Vuitton, but after an incident during Milan Men’s fashion week, that contract could now be at risk.
Williams caused outrage when his minders booted several gay fashion peep’s out of his VIP lounge during a GQ Magazine party telling them there was "too much sausage" in the room.
According to the New York Daily News, reps for Louis Vuitton are now assessing how much damage Williams has caused with his remarks and whether or not they will be retaining him as their ‘face’."
I am so disappointed in Pharrell, and I was even shocked that he would let such a thing go down. I mean he can seem a bit metrosexual at times. Ecspecially in his new video with Kanye. I would have thought that he enbraced their way of life. Oh well, I bet he feels like shit, b/c I know I would.

"Hassel The Hoff"

It seems as though EVERYONE wants to be a musician. Just because Paris Hilton recorded an album does not mean David Hasselhoff can too. And he's going to an extreme, and making it a hip-hop album. Now I just want you to picture that image for a second. Picture the old hunk, donned in Eminem attire, rapping about life as a baywatch babe. You got that image in your head, because that is just what you'll be getting from him. Word is, Ice-T is set to produce his album. Now upon taking first glance at the article, I thought how in the world did these two hook up? But I continued reading the article and found that the two are neighbors && close friends. Ice-T says, "The man is a legend. And we are going to show a whole new side of him." Apparently, Hasselhoff is really popular over in Germany and is dying to make his premiere in the US. Look out for the album entitled, "Hassel the Hoff". I'm done, first D4L, then Paris Hilton, now Hasselhoff, the hip-hop game is bananas right now. And I don't mean that in a good way.

Are We There Yet Nia?

Nia Long will be starring in a sequel to 2005's family comedy, "Are we There yet?". This time around she will be playing Ice Cube's girlfriend. The same kids (Aleisha Allen & Philip Bolden) who played the little brats in the first one will make their second appearance. Now my question is why is it taking Ms. Long so long to gain a starring role. She is always the supporting actress. I've noticed that her and Larenz Tate are two brilliant actors who have yet to take on a starring role. While I love their characters in any other movie, I'd still love to see them win an Oscar or Academy award for a starring role, like Halle did in "Monsters Ball". They've both been acting for quite some time now. I'm wondering if they were offered starring roles and they turned them down, or if they're not seen in Hollywood as a-list actors. Come ya'll, let's get those good roles pouring in.
