Mad Props: ILLSIDE_INK

I was thinking about getting a corner of my room tagged like this here corner done by:
MADD PROPS TO THEM.......check them out, they cover album art, shoes, skateboards, I'm guessing a lot of everything. But I like how they do, maddd fly son!!!

BRS && SB Dunks

"Remember where you came from" people......that's BRS' motto....for those that don't know, this was NIKE in it's first years.....BLUE RIBBON SPORTS goes back into the drawing room to design under the name Blue Ribbon Sports......they are NIKE affiliated so everything they make is geared towards athleticism.....I've been seeing some of their stuff arise very slowly but it seems to me that people aren't catching on quite fast enough.....in previous months I spoke with NIKE reps that explained BRS' whole deal.....they even worked out deals with celebrities to wear their stuff.....so the public can catch on of course.....so just pay close attention to the uprising...they make a lot of their stuff to match NIKE shoes which we all know come in a variety of colors and patterns......you know the Baltoros they released last year with the gray, blue , and fuscia type color, well for example, BRS made jackets and shirts that went specifically with those shoes...they call their stuff "the sneakerheads dream"........I personally think that their apparel is HOT......so check up on it kids.....heres a link to their website:

SB dunks ya'll.....I found these over at ISS forums.....those Black && neons and those purple and white ones go hard son!!!!!! I need them in my life.......what you think.....they look small too......just for me almost......

"Sun" Shoes

Now I am an avid fan of dunks more so than air forces.....but I recently saw these on Brooklyn Bodega and they really hit home.....(big ups to Brooklyn Bodega by the way, I love their blog)....as you can see they are modeled after the filipino flag. Nike decided to pay tribute to Dr. Jose Rizal, a very passionate patriot and national hero for the Philippines. My mother would be very proud if I walked up in her house sportin' these bad boys. Unfortunately, they don't make them in my size which happens to be size 3 in kids...you know I really need a hook-up on EXCLUSIVE kicks for very small feet....i have a strong sneaker fetish......and i do need my fix right about now.....so someone holla at yo gura with the tiny feet....but you can find the shoes at hanon-shop.com

Ecstatic

I know I know.....I haven't been up here to update anything for awhile but I have been on my grind, working, preparing for school, dancing, and of course writing. Anyhoo, I recently entered a poetry contest with Poetry.com, and I just received a letter in the mail yesterday confirming my status as a semi-finalist out of thousands. My poem will be published in a book that they're putting together. But I am very proud of myself, here's my poem in all it's copywritten glory:

"Diary of a Woman"
Since the day woman was born she has been curious to all.
God's wonderful creation,a beauty of nature with no faults.
Diamonds and pearls, a string of luxury.
the most beautiful thing in the world,as pure as a soul could be.
An outstretched land, mystical and magical.
The centripital force that draws in everything practical.
The beginning of something spectacularly beautiful.
The happily ever after at the end of the road.
An angel with a soul that glows.
At the end of the day everything sets in her eyesand hangs on to her whisper.
Written in the stars, she is God's number 1 contender.
