Movie Date Must Sees

Casino Royale-It has been promised that this movie is unlike the past few Bond films that dissappointed many and led them to believe that no other character is able to fill James' Bond shoes like Sean Connery. In this film Daniel Craig plays a newly minted 00 agent out to disband a terrorist funding network. It is said that this Bond agent is a very believeable bad-ass with incredible footwork and a knack for being more lethal than any of his predecessors. Great date film. score-A

Deja Vu-Directed by Tony Scott produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. In case you forgot the trio last teamed up to shoot "Crimson Tide" and "Man On Fire" which both grossed over 100 million each worldwide. I'm sure this movie will live up to the expectations it has been given. And just so you have a jist of what this movie will be about, Washington plays an ATF agent who investigates a terrorist bombing in New Orleans. He travels back in time by way of secret government satellite cams to try and prevent this whole ordeal from going down. Meanwhile, He falls in love with a woman as her murder approaches (Idlewild's Paula Patton). Sounds very inticing. score-B+

Rihanna in Fashion 18 Magazine

These pictures remind me of someone......oh wait Beyonce....no I'm not even trying to hate and say she's trying to be like B....but I mean come on...these pics, her poses, her outfit just screams Beyonce.....

Beyonce @ AMAs

ummmm.....i have no words for you B.....you are just too gorgeous and I'm literally hatin' on your dress....

Highly Anticipated: Dreamgirls

I'm just really excited about this film as the debut draws nearer. I know the music production is going to be great and the costumes make the girls look utterly fabulous. I'm really proud of Beyonce for putting forth what seems like her best for this film. And congrats to Jennifer Hudson because if you haven't heard, she recently inked a deal with J Records where she will join their reputable list of clientele which includes Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx and Fantasia, just to name a few. This movie may just skyrocket these two ladies to the top, well for B, to another level anyway. The other Dreamette, Lorrell Robinson is played by Anika Noni Rose, and I'm sure she'll gain a lot more attention after this film debuts in theaters on Christmas Day. But until then, just listen to B's raw emotion on this track. Its on her album but I just love it, so I'm posting it.

Bush Helps Kids Read.....better than him even

"I said I was looking for a book to read, Laura said you ought to try Camus. I also read three Shakespeares. ... I've got a eck-a-lec-tic reading list."
--George W. Bush, interview with NBC's Brian Williams, New Orleans, La., Aug. 29, 2006

......and so we see George, you've got an eck-a-lec-tic reading list....you must be very well rounded when it comes to reading.....you can probably read any which way hunh?.....forwards, backwards, upside down.......I'm sorry again, I just became another person to bash bush.....oh well

    The Come Up:Shar Jackson

I must say, Shar I love how you've evolved. No more old weaves, and you're practically glowing now. Go girl, you better get your man back, I mean he is about to single again. And just think, you could both be living off of Brit's money. That's what happens when theres no prenup.

Family Matters:The Game and his Little Advocate

I would like to take this time out to say that The Game's son is adorable.....right up there with Will and Jada's son Jaden. He looks like a mini me of Game but for some reason he got spit out looking way cuter.....

    Cancellations and Such......

So I would just like to say that I was supposed to be attending Old Dominion University's Homecoming concert that included performances by Busta Ryhmes and Lupe Fiasco. Unfortunately, the day before the concert, I was sadly informed that it had been cancelled due to a lack of ticket sales. Apparently, everyone was eager to catch Mr. Fiasco but the fact that Busta was heading the performance, set them back, why, I don't know because the man puts on really great shows. Even though the show was cancelled, Mr. Fiasco agreed to do a free show in the student commons. You know he's always good for a free show, you gotta love all that humbleness. He's never too big for a free show. So I drive all the way down from Richmond to Norfolk which is a good hour and a half drive only to find it too was cancelled. Now I don't know if it was ODU's doing or Lupe and his people, all I know is I was highly upset. Lupe, if you happen to stumble upon this blog, just know that I'm waiting for some tickets to one of your shows. I need some sort of reimbursement for all this. I was really looking forward to your show, but I guess it just wasn't my time. But come on homie, hook your girl up because you know I hold you down. And don't ever think you can't come back to VA because you don't have any fans, you do, you really do. As sad as it is to say, it was because of Busta why people didn't buy tickets, or maybe it was just the ODU crowd. Anyhoo, just come on over to VCU next time, we gotcha on the luv kid.

    One Blood Remix

  • Game Feat. Half the Hip-Hop game-One Blood Remix

  • There is nothing much to say about this track. It seems like they got everyone together for a big ass freestyle session. To me a remix is supposed to be a totally different sounding track from the first. For example, the "Bootylicious Remix" or the remix to "Drop it Like It's Hot". I love to hear new music, so when an artist comes out with a remix that sounds exactly like the first only with a rapper after the chorus, I get upset and disappointed. But this is a fun track, I hated the original version but this one was kind of a relief. This almost 12 minute track is chocked full of rappers from T.I to The Lox. Have Fun.

So just today I was searching through yahoo images under 'America's Next Top Model' and I found it really strange that this picture was one of the search results......it was titled skinny, that may be why.....funny how yahoo knows how to be sarcastic too.....what are they implying that she should be one of America's Next Top Models because skinny is the modeling industry's MO.......
